NIDRR Program Review
The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) supports an extensive network of research centers on disability, rehabilitation research, engineering, and model systems. We developed a Program Review process for the Director's office, and implemented the performance measurement system. InfoUse prepared, conducted, and evaluated formative and summative reviews with each of the Centers for the first five years of the Review. The Program Review was eventually adopted as a regular staff activity of NIDRR's ongoing quality improvement process, a component of the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) system of the U.S. Department of Education. Our program review process has also been transferred to other Federal programs.
